My diagnostic thesis: On this topic, I’m not very sure what went wrong or what happened, but the first amendment says that Congress will make no regulation regarding a current foundation that has a place with religion, denying the free activity thereof; or shortening the opportunity that has a place with discourse, or that has a place with the press; or the right that has a place with individuals quietly to collect, as well as to request of the public authority that will have a place with a current review that has a place with complaints. In my beliefs, I think it deserves a 1st amendment protection, In my opinion even if you against it, then you shouldn’t be rude or hurt someone, but if this may be your opinion then you can say it, but not to the point where you hurt the person.
ESSAY ASSIGNMENT: Rewrite the diagnostic essay you wrote on the Synder v Phelps legal case. You may keep the same basic thesis and reasons you used in your first version, or you may choose to completely change sides in the case or develop your thesis with completely different reasons. Also, you may choose to focus solely on the legal case outlined in the article, or you may choose to broaden the scope of the essay and talk about banning or not banning hate speech in general. In other words, your thesis could just be about this particular legal case or it could be about creating laws to ban hate speech in general. In any case, as one of the major essay assignments for this class, this version should be much more developed and polished than your first version. These major essay assignments should be about 5 full pages, double spaced, typed, and not including the Works Cited page.
Document all the information or ideas you take from any outside sources – including information taken from the original article – following the MLA conventions for documenting sources.
