this patient sounds suspicious for a tooth abscess.
Dental
caries are something that you may see during your pediatric clinicals this
semester. One key way of reducing dental caries is by the use of fluoride
varnishing. Marinho, Worthingo, Walsh and Clarkson (2013) state that there was
a 43% reduction in dental caries in children that received fluoride treatment.
This is now something some pediatricians are offering in their office. Have you
experienced in this in your clinicals thus far? Yes, Dr. Morris I have seen this in clincals…………………………..
